Gelding has proved the key to Dream Castle who made it two from two since the operation with a facile success in the 1m1f Group 2 Al Rashidiya, over the same course and distance as he had won the Group 3 Singspiel Stakes on the opening night of the carnival three weeks ago.

Trained by Saeed Bin Suroor, he was chased home by stablemates Leshlaa and Racing History with the Charlie Appleby-trained Blair House completing a Godolphin 1-2-3-4 in a race they were responsible for six of the nine runners.

Christophe Soumillon always looked confident and, once able to ease out of a pocket early in the straight, the five-year-old son of Frankel shot clear to register a three-length success.
