Sottsass better than ever and primed to run a massive race in Arc - Rouget
Punters on either side of the English Channel dismiss Sottsass at their peril, with last year's Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe third described as "better than ever at this stage of the season" by trainer Jean-Claude Rouget.
Sunday's Longchamp showdown has been the target for Sottsass almost from the moment the field crossed the line 12 months ago, with Rouget promising even as Cristian Demuro returned to unsaddle: "We'll just have to come back and win it at four."
The son of Siyouni came through his final turf canters in Deauville on Tuesday and Demuro will once again ride Sottsass, while Maxime Guyon will partner Hamdan Al Maktoum's Prix de Psyche winner Raabihah.
