'You wouldn't be complaining with the runners we have for the festival'

The champion trainer provides the lowdown on his talented team

Nicky Henderson will hope for a repeat of last season when he left the Cheltenham Festival with four winners, including Epatante and Champ, who landed the Unibet Champion Hurdle and RSA Chase.

However, the trainer knows winners at the festival are always hard to come by and he has one eye on the powerful battalion of Irish runners after their exploits at the Dublin Racing Festival.

"You have to have your runners in tip-top condition every year to be competitive at the festival, but it was quite scary watching some of the Irish horses at Leopardstown as they were impressive," he said.
