'He's got a big engine and he's a very high-class horse'

Andrew Dietz talks to the master of Willow Farm in North Yorkshire

If David O'Meara's stable star Lord Glitters had not already achieved legendary status at Willow Farm, he has guaranteed it with four valuable Group victories in the Middle East since the start of last year.

He might be aged nine now but the lovable grey notched back-to-back victories in the Singspiel Stakes at Meydan in February and leads the trainer's team for the domestic campaign.

"Lord Glitters is still fit and well and hopefully he'll have a productive season. For an old horse, he's still flying the flag," says O'Meara.
