David Jennings talks to the master of Ballydoyle about his Royal Ascot squad
With five Classics tucked away in three different countries, the season has started extremely well for Aidan O'Brien and the master of Ballydoyle has assembled a powerful army for the royal meeting.
O'Brien has sent out 31 winners at the last six Royal Ascots, including a record-breaking seven at the 2016 meeting, and looks sure to add to that tally next week.
Last year's runaway Oaks winner Love could reappear alongside Armory in the Prince of Wales's Stakes, a race he last won in 2017 with Highland Reel, while Irish 1,000 Guineas winner Empress Josephine is being aimed at the Coronation Stakes. So too is 1,000 Guineas winner Mother Earth.
