William Hill want to be part of the growing dialogue between the racing and betting industries to tackle the headwinds facing the sport.
Phil Walker, UK managing director for William Hill's new owner 888, says the sport remains important to the business and that they remain committed to ensuring racing has a viable future.
Walker was speaking as the integration process continues following 888's £2 billion purchase of William Hill's non-US assets, completed in July.
