Perhaps the most significant pointer last weekend came not from a horse but a trainer, with Ralph Beckett maintaining his sensational form.
Beckett has already soared past his previous-best totals in terms of winners and prize-money this year and Saturday was another superb day for the trainer, who enjoyed an across-the-card four-timer.
That was particularly timely because Beckett has some big Group 1 chances over the coming weekends.
