Wexford has been forced to cancel Sunday's fixture due to waterlogging after 35mm of rain at the track overnight.

An inspection has been called for 7.30am for Monday's meeting. Grade 1 Aintree winner Inthepocket is declared to make his chasing debut on the Monday card (3.50), while Joyeux Machin is one of four runners in the Listed M.W. Hickey Memorial Chase (3.15).

Clerk of the course Paul Moloney said: "The rain overnight has left some parts of the track holding a little too much water. The forecast for Sunday appears to be more favourable, with just a passing shower, so the team will do everything they can to try and make sure we are racing on Monday."

There are three jumps meetings on Sunday, with the going described as good to soft, soft in places for the Old Roan Chase card at Aintree, soft, heavy in places at Wincanton and heavy at Galway.

Redcar's meeting on Monday has already been cancelled with the track waterlogged in several areas and little chance of improvement. The track was hit with 18mm of rain on Friday afternoon and is forecast a further 15mm for Saturday night into Sunday.

Leicester, which was also due to race on Monday, called its meeting off on Thursday due to the track being waterlogged. Bangor's Tuesday card has also been cancelled due to waterlogging.

Curragh's meeting on Tuesday is in doubt with the track unfit for racing on Sunday after a further 10mm of rain overnight. There is the potential for up to 15mm of rain before the meeting and a further update will be issued at 3pm on Monday.
