This week's advice: Contrapposto has the form to figure at a huge price

We haven’t had a winning favourite in the Dante since Authorized in 2007 and it could be worth throwing a few quid at CONTRAPPOSTO at a huge price. David Menuisier’s colt did well to run fourth to Eminent against the pace bias in the Craven and he was a 50-1 second to Rivet on his previous visit to York.
The following day Richard Fahey can win the 7f fillies’ handicap at York for the third time in four years with SHYPEN. Her record in handicaps confined to fillies and mares reads 51411721 (4-8).
The last ten winners of the 1m2f handicap that opens the Dante meeting had finished first or second in one of their last two starts and eight of them were four-year-olds.
