The Punt Acca: Charlie Huggins tipped a winner in his last column and has three Monday selections at Worcester

Three horses to include in a treble on Monday

Fat Sam (2.12 Worcester)

The 11-year-old has not won since July 2022 but he is now rated 18lb lower than for that 13-length success at Newton Abbot. This Class 5 contest is the lowest grade Fat Sam has ever encountered and last month's third at Uttoxeter was an encouraging effort after wind surgery and a seven-month absence. The winner, Stumps Or Slips, was completing a hat-trick and none of Fat Sam's rivals here are in that sort of form.

Sporty Jim (4.20 Worcester)

This eight-year-old has dropped 29lb in the handicap since joining Rob Summers from Olly Murphy but he has bumped into the in-form I'm A Starman on his last two starts. The runner-up from Sporty Jim's penultimate start went one better on her next outing while Spitalfield, who finished a place ahead of the selection over this course and distance last month, was subsequently a respectable second off a 3lb higher mark.

Janworth (4.55 Worcester)

Jamie Snowden's mare would be coming here bidding for a four-timer had she not fallen when well clear at the last on her penultimate start at Southwell. The eight-year-old made amends for that tumble three days later when winning by eight lengths at this track and trip. An 8lb rise in the weights may not be enough to prevent this progressive half-sister to six-time winner Bucko's Boy from following up.
