'His rider always felt this race would suit him and he's got a lot of York form' - key quotes for the Nunthorpe

Sean Quinn, joint-trainer of Jm Jungle
He's been well since Goodwood. He's due to work later this week and fingers crossed he gets to the Nunthorpe in good shape. Jason Hart always felt this race would suit him and it makes sense as he's got a lot of York form, including winning at the Ebor meeting last year. He's exceeded expectations this year. He's done what a good horse does and kept improving, and that's when you can enjoy it. These horses don't come around too often and we're trying to appreciate the journey.
Mick Appleby, trainer of Big Mojo
He's been doing well but after Goodwood we've decided we're unlikely to run him in the Nunthorpe at this stage. The Sprint Cup at Haydock seems like the better option for him now.
Richard Hughes, trainer of Sayidah Dariyan
We couldn't be happier with her. She seems to have come on from run to run, so let's hope she can come on again. Once fillies start improving, it's hard to stop them and she seems to be still getting better. At Royal Ascot she got there too soon but Billy Loughnane rectified it and gave her a great ride last time. The Nunthorpe was always the plan after Ascot. We're up against two or three nice ones but they need to jump, they need the draw and they need a bit of luck in running.
