Tropical Speed (3.00 Ffos Las)

Got off the mark at the tenth attempt last time and looks set to follow up. The good ground clearly suits him, as he fared much better than on his previous two runs when conditions were softer. He also showed form on good ground last year when he was trained in Ireland, finishing third and fourth in big-field handicaps. He looked to have plenty in hand when winning last time and appears to be well handicapped for the spring and summer.

Formel Park (5.00 Ffos Las)

She fared better last time, although she was unable to pose a threat to the winner. She has a nice pedigree and is bound to stay further in time, but with a good pace early on here, she should stay on well and capitalise. She could end up being a fair bit better than her mark of 74.

Zahrann (8.08 Cork)

He made a promising debut over a mile, racing a bit keenly but staying on well to finish a head behind the favourite, Mississippi River. He’s sure to come on plenty and should improve significantly. Upped in trip, which he looks likely to stay, he has every chance of going one better and getting off the mark.
