Three horses to include in a treble on Monday . . .

An impressive winner of a Market Rasen bumper in April, he was well fancied on his hurdling debut at Carlisle last month, when patiently ridden and given a lot to do but going down by just half a length to one who had shown ability previously. A big, scopey sort, he is sure to improve for the outing and this step up in trip looks the right move.

Jack Sprat (3.30 Exeter)

The six-year-old won twice over hurdles, producing a career best when upped to a staying trip for the first time at Huntingdon in March, and made a good fist of it on his chasing debut at Wetherby last month. He looked like getting detached at one stage, but rallied well to go down by little more than four lengths suggesting this longer trip would help, while he will be suited by the sounder surface and the return to a right-handed track.

Manara (4.30 Wolverhampton)

Displayed some ability in two all-weather novices before trailing home last at Newmarket this month, all over sprint trips, but took his form to another level when upped to a mile at Chelmsford four days ago, quickening up nicely to win going away once in the clear. He's out quickly under a 6lb penalty and should back up that success.
