Three horses to include in a treble on Friday

Salt Rock (12.55 Doncaster)

Lightly raced after just five starts, he showed ability over hurdles behind three useful prospects and duly got off the mark on his chasing/handicap debut at Hereford last month. That was of little surprise given he won his sole point easily by 15 lengths and he beat a couple of bang in-form rivals with a bit in hand. The longer trip should suit and a 6lb rise shouldn't stop him going in again.

Gwennie May Jem (1.28 Doncaster)

There was little to shout about in first four starts, finishing last of 20 runners in a bumper and being beaten in excess of 22 lengths in three novice runs, but he showed a lot more on his handicap debut in November, finishing third after rallying having hit a flat spot. That suggested a longer trip would suit, while the form has been well advertised, with the winner going down by just a length off a 9lb higher mark next time and the runner-up winning three time since. He runs off the same mark here and should be hard to beat.

Neptune Legend (2.50 Lingfield)

Ran a cracker when third in a 6f handicap at Lingfield in November, form that has been franked since with the winner following up on his next three starts and the runner-up winning next time too. He went without headgear that day, but his last four victories have come when fitted with a tongue-tie and blinkers, which are both refitted here. His form figures when this headgear returns read 1114 and he won the only time Hollie Doyle was in the saddle, so everything looks in place for him to get back to winning ways.
