Three horses to include in a treble on Monday

Jack Hyde (3.42 Southwell)

The seven-year-old's third-placed effort at Huntingdon last time is working out well as not only was that maiden hurdle won by the Triumph Hurdle-bound Palladium, the selection split two subsequent winners. Wolf Moon beat the likes of £350,000 purchase Buckna after finishing second at Huntingdon while Karton Plein, who was ten lengths behind Jack Hyde, won a ten-runner contest on his next outing. Jack Hyde can emulate both of those who made the frame behind last year's German Derby hero by winning a 2m maiden hurdle at Southwell on his next start.

Tigers Moon (5.15 Southwell)

Trainer Tom Ellis's runners are much more appealing to back in handicaps so the fact that Tigers Moon made no impression in his three qualifying runs, two of which being at this track and trip, should not detract from the five-year-old's chances here. The son of Pether's Moon finished third behind Lady Babs, who won by seven and a half lengths off a 3lb higher mark on his next start, when making his handicap debut at last month. Tigers Moon finished seven and a half lengths clear of the reopposing Je Viens Du Large when they last met at Market Rasen and, given the selection runs off the same rating here, he should confirm the form.
