Novak Djokovic v Jannik Sinner

Novak Djokovic has made Wimbledon his own in recent years and the Serb, who is chasing a fourth successive title at the All England Club, should find a way past quarter-final opponent Jannik Sinner. That said, Djokovic dropped sets in earlier-round wins over Soonwoo Kwon and Tim Van Rihtjoven and Sinner, who is serving superbly, is by far his toughest test yet.

David Goffin v Cameron Norrie

Cameron Norrie has capitalised on a soft second quarter and the Brit looks a good favourite in his bid to book a place in the semi-finals. Norrie has won three of his four matches in straight sets and his opponent David Goffin will have the crowd against him and must recover quickly from his four-hour 37-minute marathon with Frances Tiafoe on Sunday.

Marie Bouzkova v Ons Jabeur

It has been a breakthrough tournament for Marie Bouzkova but title favourite Ons Jabeur should end her dream run. The Tunisian has had an excellent season and has a strong grass-court game, highlighted by her recent title triumph in Berlin. Jabeur has won all four of her matches at Wimbledon in straight sets and she appears to have a significant class edge in this quarter-final encounter.

Tatjana Maria v Jule Niemeier

This is unchartered territory for both of these German players and this quarter-final clash has a marathon feel to it. Both women appear to be operating at the peak of their powers but it is interesting that ten of Tatjana Maria last 12 matches have gone to a deciding set, including three of her four encounters at Wimbledon this year.
