Serena Williams is the 6-4 favourite to win Wimbledon after ante-post favourite Ashleigh Barty was knocked out by Alison Riske but the American legend faces stiff competition from Johanna Konta after the Brit came from a set behind to beat Petra Kvitova.

Konta lost the opening set, just as she had against Sloane Stephens in the previous round, but the 28-year-old rallied to defeat the two-time champion and she is now no bigger than 5-1 to win the title.

Simona Halep, meanwhile, is the 5-2 second favourite after she ended the dream debut of 15-year-old prodigy Cori Gauff and it's 10-1 bar the top three in the market.

In the men's draw, Novak Djokovic continued his march with a comfortable straight-sets victory over Ugo Humbert while Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer were equally impressive in knocking out Joao Sousa and Matteo Berrettini.

Djokovic is 8-11, Nadal is a 100-30 shot and Federer is 7-2 to win a ninth Wimbledon crown. It was 22-1 bar while Milos Raonic was locked in a five-set battle with Guido Pella on Monday evening.
