Match preview

The Golden State Warriors looked to be in big trouble during Game 4 of the NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics. Trailing 2-1 in the series and 54-49 down at half-time on the road, it looked like they might need to reel off three straight wins to take the title.

However, after roaring back to win Friday night's game 107-97, it's all to play for and the Californian team can go ahead for the first time in the series with a home win on Monday night.

What was remarkable about the Warriors' comeback is that it was powered by a 43-point night from their superstar point guard Steph Curry. Golden State's golden boy had been an injury doubt before that game, having picked up a knock in Game 3 two days previously, but he put his team on his back in trademark fashion.

Now the seven-game series becomes a straight best-of-three shootout, and the Warriors will have home-court advantage for this fixture and in a potential Game 7.

They are 4-6 favourites to win the title and can be the first team to win back-to-back games in this series, with the Celtics likely to be rattled after crumbling on their home floor.

The Warriors have gone 10-1 at home in these playoffs, with Boston becoming the first road team to win at the Chase Center in Game 1 of the finals. The Warriors won Game 2 there by 19 points, though, and are fancied to win again in front of their own fans.
