Round three resumes at 2.45pm Sunday UK & Ireland time

Justin Thomas leads the Genesis Open by one shot despite completing only two holes of his third round when play was suspended due to darkness last night.

They have been playing catch-up at Riviera Country Club since play was severely delayed due to rain on Thursday. PGA Tour bosses are hopeful of finishing today but that will require Thomas and his playing partners Adam Scott and JB Holmes to start at 6.45am local time in a bid to complete 34 holes in the day.

Thomas, who holds a one-shot lead over Scott, is a general 11-8 chance while the Aussie can be backed at 7-2. Patrick Rodgers is 12-1, as is Rory McIlroy - the Northern Irishman is five shots behind the leader.

Tiger Woods, who has never won at Riviera, was five under par for his first four holes of round three but he is still seven shots adrift of Thomas and 40-1 to take the title.
