Only Ajax boasted a better home record than PSV Eindhoven in the Eredivisie last season and the Dutch outfit could be too strong for Galatasaray at the Philips Stadion in the first leg of their Champions League qualifying tie on Wednesday.

Off the pitch PSV look as though they could lose two of their star players, Denzel Dumfries and Donyell Malen, this summer but on it they remain unbeaten in 11 competitive matches and won 13 of their 17 home league fixtures in 2020-21.

They simply look stronger than Super Lig side Galatasaray, who failed to make it beyond Europa League qualifying last term and have lost four of their six meetings with PSV.

The winner of the tie will face either Celtic or Midtjylland in the next round of qualifying.

Bulgarian champions Ludogorets could be worth a bet to see off Slovenians Mura in Murska Sobota.

Mura were hammered 3-0 at home by Tabor Sezana in their first league game of the new season on Saturday, whereas Ludogorets enter the first leg fresh from a 4-0 Super Cup victory over CSKA Sofia and look in much better shape.
