Rotherham lost attacking midfielder Matt Crooks to a harsh early red card during Wednesday's 2-1 loss at home to Middlesbrough but they have not given up hope of survival and can pick up a precious point against promotion-chasing Barnsley, who have won just one of their last four home fixtures.

Middlesbrough 1 Sheff Wed 2

Sheffield Wednesday are still fighting tooth and nail to get out of the drop zone and can back up Tuesday's 1-0 success at home to Blackburn with an away win at mid-table Middlesbrough, who have won once in their last six fixtures.

Nottingham Forest 2 Stoke 1

Nottingham Forest were fortunate to escape with a 1-1 draw at Birmingham on Wednesday but they can guarantee survival with a home victory over faltering Stoke, who have taken just one point from their last four games.

Derby 0 Birmingham 1

Birmingham have been outstanding under Lee Bowyer and can extend their unbeaten sequence to six with a victory over struggling Derby, who are in serious trouble after losing four games in a row.
