Few international sides are referred to as a one-man team as often as Poland and Paulo Sousa's men will want to show what they are capable of as a collective this summer.

Robert Lewandowski netted an eye-watering 48 goals for Bayern Munich across all competitions this season and while he will be crucial to Poland's performances at Euro 2020, Sousa will want to see the rest of his group building confidence before the tournament begins.

And victory over 2018 World Cup hosts Russia in this week's international friendly could do them the world of good.

Poland were impressive during qualifying, topping their section with eight wins from ten matches and they were minutes away from earning a draw against England in World Cup qualifying earlier this year only for Harry Maguire to net a late winner.

Russia have shown they do not travel well recently, losing 2-1 away to Slovakia in their last game and falling to defeats in Turkey and Serbia during the Nations League, and they could be worth opposing in Wroclaw.

Slovenia will not feature at Euro 2020 and, based on their most recent performances, it is perhaps easy to see why.

They started their World Cup qualifying campaign with an impressive win over Croatia but were fortunate in that contest having seen only 30 per cent of the ball and they followed the win with defeats to Russia and Cyprus.

Their friendly opponents North Macedonia will be making their debut at this summer's European Championship but should not be dismissed entirely given they were solid in qualifying and obliterated Liechtenstein 5-0 before edging Germany 2-1 in World Cup qualifiers in March. Back them to win this one.

Croatia, meanwhile, are around 2-11 to start their Euro preparations with a win over Armenia and Slovakia are 4-5 to see off Bulgaria.
