Punters should tread carefully when assessing this week's World Cup warm-up friendlies with many teams expected to field weakened sides but there is still value to be had in games taking place on Thursday.

Morocco are in an open section with Belgium, Canada and Croatia in Qatar and a defence featuring Achraf Hakimi, Romain Saiss and Nayef Aguerd will be key to their prospects in Group F.

They go into their warm-up friendly with non-qualifiers Georgia having kept three straight clean sheets and each of those matches also featured fewer than four goals.

Georgia will be without red-hot Napoli forward Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who is injured, and that points to a low-scoring win for the Atlas Lions.

Meanwhile, goals could be on the cards when Ghana and Switzerland crank up their tournament preparations with a friendly at the Al Nahyan Stadium.

It remains to be seen what team Ghana will put out for this clash but they have attacking quality in their ranks in Mohammed Kudus, Kamaldeen Sulemana, Inaki Williams and Jordan Ayew.

Switzerland, meanwhile, should still be in good spirits after an end to their Nations League campaign which featured wins over Portugal, Spain and Czech Republic.

Both teams scored in two of their last three games in that tournament and that looks a decent bet at 4-5 when they face Ghana.
