Friday preview

Three teams will be getting in their final preparations for the World Cup on Friday as Cameroon, Belgium and Serbia are all in friendly action.

The Belgians are the shortest of the three in the outright betting for the tournament and they have arguably the toughest tune-up game, facing Egypt in Kuwait.

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah is training with the north African side but it remains to be seen how much game-time he will get on Friday afternoon.

Salah's side have a reputation for robust defensive performances and this may be a low-scoring affair with Belgium unlikely to be at full throttle given that their World Cup opener against Canada is in just five days time.

Top scorer Romelu Lukaku is a doubt for the clash with Canada but Eden Hazard, who has also had an injury-hit season, could feature against Egypt.

Thirteen of Egypt's last 16 matches have gone under 2.5 goals and with their European opponents using this match as an opportunity to acclimatise to conditions in the Middle East, that run is fancied to continue.

Elsewhere, Cameroon take on Panama in a clash that is set to kick off at 10am UK time while Serbia, who are sweating on the fitness of star strikers Aleksandar Mitrovic and Dusan Vlahovic, visit Bahrain to take on a home side who recently drew 2-2 with Canada.
