England Euro 2020 news: Gareth Southgate confirms his final 26-man squad

Gareth Southgate has confirmed his 26-man England squad for Euro 2020, with Aaron Ramsdale, Ben Godfrey, Ben White, Jesse Lingard, James Ward-Prowse, Mason Greenwood and Ollie Watkins missing the final cut.

The Three Lions are as short as 4-1 with some firms to win this summer's European Championship and 2-5 with bet365 and Boylesports to finish top of Group D above Croatia, Scotland and Czech Republic.

Southgate has selected four right-backs in his final squad with Trent Alexander-Arnold included along with Reece James, Kyle Walker and Kieran Trippier despite speculation the Liverpool defender would be left out.

Walker is 1-6 with Coral to start England's opening game of Euro 2020 against Croatia, with James 3-1 while Alexander-Arnold and Trippier are both 4-1 chances.

Manchester United starlet Greenwood had already withdrawn from the provisional 30-man group due to injury while it had been reported Lingard would not feature prior to Southgate's announcement on Tuesday.

England captain Kane is favourite to win the Golden Boot at Euro 2020 and is as big as 6-1 for the accolade with Hills. The Tottenham man is 16-1 to win Player of the Tournament.

Midfielder Phil Foden is part of the final group and can be backed at 9-2 to be named Young Player of the Tournament this summer.

Defender Harry Maguire and vice-captain Jordan Henderson are both injured but have nonetheless been included in the final 26-man group.

Due to current conditions, Uefa are allowing nations to make unlimited changes to their squads in instances of serious injury or illness, including a positive test for Covid-19, prior to the first match of the tournament.
