Fancy a Euro 2024 free bet on Italy’s must-win game against the Swiss as they push to successfully defend the prize they won at Wembley three years ago? Keep reading as we explain how to snag a great deal.
Switzerland vs Italy preview
Italy finished in second place behind Spain in Group B at Euro 2024 after taking four of the nine points available to them. The defending champions failed to win either of their last two group outings in Germany and are now targeting a timely return to winning ways.
Switzerland were second behind Germany in Group A and progressed with an unbeaten record thanks to a win and two draws. They enter their fourth outing of the championship in high spirits and will believe they can topple an out-of-sorts Italian side.
Switzerland vs Italy prediction
Italy and Switzerland have met a dozen times previously, with those games producing six draws, four wins for the Italians and a couple of Swiss successes. Their meetings have mostly been tight affairs and we expect another in Berlin on Saturday.
Each of the last two games between the neighbouring nations have ended in draws, as have five of the last six. Follow our example and back another level finish at decent odds. We predict a draw at full-time, with Italy likely to use their experience to find a way to sneak through in extra-time or penalties.
