Eurosport 2 from 6pm Tuesday

Ghana v Benin

9pm

Ghana are a team laced with high-profile names including brothers Andre and Jordan Ayew, Christian Atsu and Asamoah Gyan, and they can begin their bid for a first Afcon title since 1982 by beating Benin.

Sierra Leone's disqualification meant Ghana played only four games in qualifying but they won three of them and conceded only one goal.

Benin have Stephane Sessegnon and Steve Mounie in their ranks but beyond that their squad is comprised of players from a range of lower leagues and they could lack the cohesion to cause a stir.

Recommendation
Ghana
1pt 3-4 Betway, Sky Bet

Key stat
Benin scored only five goals in six matches during Afcon qualification.

Cameroon v Guinea-Bissau

6pm

Guinea-Bissau made their Afcon debut only two years ago and, despite topping their qualifying section, they could be out of their depth in a strong Group F.

They finished above Namibia, Mozambique and Zambia in qualification but still looked shaky at the back, conceding seven goals, and Cameroon can make their quality count in Ismailia.

Clinton N'Jie and Christian Bassogog are exciting players in the final third and could make the difference although only one of the first seven matches at the tournament has more than two goals and the intense heat of Egypt could mean a goalfest is unlikely.

Recommendation
Cameroon to win & under 4.5 goals
1pt 17-20 Betway

Key stat
Cameroon lost only one of their six qualifying encounters.
