Ordinarily Egypt would be considered good things at a shade of odds-on at home to Uganda but coach Javier Aguirre has already said he will rest players for the knockout stage, which leads to the prospect of Mohamed Salah potentially sitting out this clash.

A point almost suits both sides - Egypt would finish first and Uganda would be in pole position to follow them through - and with Salah not certain to start a third straight clean sheet for the hosts could be a better bet than backing them to win.

DR Congo have been poor during this tournament, deservedly losing to Uganda and Egypt, and they could be heading for a hat-trick of losses against Zimbabwe.

The Warriors had the better of their matches against DR Congo in qualifying, winning away and drawing at home, and there has been little to suggest that the tables have turned in Egypt.
