Preview

Champions Paris St-Germain are 15 points clear going into the final round of fixtures but the rest of the European places in Ligue 1 are still to be decided.

Fourth-placed Rennes, who have scored 80 goals in 37 matches this term – second only to PSG – must win at last season's surprise champions Lille if they are to have any chance of making the top three and qualifying for the Champions League.

Rennes are odds-on to beat their mid-table hosts but they would still require either second-placed Monaco or third-placed Marseille to lose.

Both of those clubs face tricky fixtures as Marseille, missing injured playmaker Dimitri Payet, host fifth-placed Strasbourg and in-form Monaco head to Lens, another team who are flying at the finish.

Confidence is high in the Monaco camp after a stunning second half of the season under Belgian coach Philippe Clement and they are favourites to claim a tenth straight league win.

They had to come from 2-0 down to beat Brest 4-2 last weekend, however, and both teams have scored in their last four away wins so backing over 3.5 goals looks a decent bet.

Lens, who still have an outside chance of making the Europa Conference League, certainly have the potential to contribute to the goal tally. They have scored at least twice in six of their last seven games and the exception was a 1-1 draw away to PSG.

Lazio look set to finish fifth in Serie A and they can sign off with an entertaining victory at home to Verona.

Their only home defeats in the league this season came against top-four clubs Milan, Napoli and Juventus, but they may struggle to keep a clean sheet against their lively visitors.

Both teams have scored in 14 of Verona's 18 away matches in the Italian top flight this term and they also got on the scoresheet in recent home defeats to Napoli and Milan.
