Sassuolo v Milan

Milan finished 12 points adrift of champions Inter in Serie A last season but they have bridged that deficit in 2021-22 and are on the brink of claiming their first Scudetto in over a decade.

The equation is simple for Milan: avoid defeat against Sassuolo and the title is theirs. They will also secure top spot if Inter fail to beat Sampdoria, regardless of their own result.

And, knowing that Sassuolo are dangerous opponents, that could see Stefano Pioli's men adopt a more cautious mindset.

Milan have won their last five Serie A matches and four of those matches featured under 3.5 goals. Given the stakes at play, this could also be low-scoring and a bet on Milan to win and under 3.5 goals looks a decent proposition at odds-against.

Alaves v Cadiz

There's a relegation storm brewing in Spain on the final day of the season with Cadiz's trip to Alaves one of the key clashes.

Alaves and Levante are already down and one of Cadiz, Mallorca, Granada or Elche will be joining them in the Segunda Division.

Cadiz start the day in the bottom three so will naturally be throwing everything they can at this game to ensure they avoid the drop and they can take comfort from the fact Alaves have lost five of their last eight matches.

On top of that, Cadiz have earned some decent results themselves of late, holding Sevilla and Real Madrid to draws either side of an impressive 3-0 thumping of Elche. They are a great bet at 20-23 to win when it matters most on Sunday.

Venezia v Cagliari

Venezia are already down and out in Serie A, having been consigned to relegation last Saturday, and Cagliari will be doing everything in their power to ensure they will not be joining them in the second tier on Sunday.

Cagliari know that if they win and Salernitana falter against Udinese on the final day of the season they will stay up and, given the incentive, they are worth chancing at odds-on.

Their recent form has not been great but they are at least taking on a Venezia unit who have lost 23 of 37 league games this season and will be in low spirits after their return to Serie B was confirmed.
