Match preview

The Brabourne Stadium played host to an IPL thriller on Monday when Kolkata were on course for a victory target of 218 before Rajasthan spinner Yuzvendra Chahal took four wickets, including a hat-trick, in the 17th over.

The short boundaries at the Mumbai venue should ensure more entertainment when Rishabh Pant's Delhi Capitals take on Punjab Kings, whose overseas stars Jonny Bairstow and Liam Livingstone will be hoping to emulate England teammate Jos Buttler's feats at the Brabourne.

Buttler scored his second century of the campaign for Rajasthan on Monday and Livingstone, a big-money buy for Punjab in the player auction, has also made an eye-catching start.

His 33-ball 60 wasn't enough to prevent a seven-wicket defeat to Hyderabad last time out but he has already lit up the Brabourne twice this term. He smashed 64 off 27 deliveries against Gujarat and was named man of the match against Chennai after making 60 off 32 and taking 2-25 off three overs.
