There is just one more day to boost your betting bank for the Ebor festival at York, with punters able to get stuck into five fixtures in Britain and Ireland.

It promises to be a good day to be beside the seaside with sunshine forecast for the meeting at Brighton, while Kempton stages the other afternoon card.

The three evening meetings comprise of a Flat fixture at Yarmouth and two jumps cards at Sligo and Newton Abbot.

Market movers

Tiny Tempest (Brighton 2.30)
2-1 (from 11-4)

This filly has shown promise on both starts, and appeared to find six furlongs a bit sharp last time out at Leicester. She steps up to a mile today, which looks a good move and can continue Eve Johnson Houghton's run of good form.

Maakaasib (Kempton 4.45)
15-8 (from 9-4)

On the all-weather this colt has two wins from four starts, including one over course and distance. Although 5lb higher than that win, which came two starts ago, the three-year-old is open to further progress.

Stosur (Yarmouth 5.40)
4-1 (from 6)

Although without a win since last December, this mare has been running very consistently. She has finished second or third on seven of her next ten starts, and trainer Gay Kelleway had a winner at the track earlier this month.

Final thought

David O'Meara has his team in excellent form going into the Ebor festival at his local track and it looks significant that he sends two runners on the long journey down to Yarmouth.

The trainer has fared extremely well at the course - four winners from nine runners - and you get the impression Fieldsman (7.10) and Hamish McGonagain (7.40) won't be going all that way just for the sea air.
