All you need to know with two Group 2s on Doncaster ladies' day
It is ladies' day at Doncaster and we are treated to some fine action with two fillies' Group 2 contests. In the May Hill Stakes (2.25) impressive debut winner Dubai Beauty takes on a strong field of exciting juveniles. The Park Hill Stakes (3.00) is another open affair which includes Pilaster, God Given and Horseplay.
With the first four races on ITV4, perhaps the most interesting race of the broadcast is the last. 22 go to post for the valuable Weatherbys Racing Bank £300,000 2yo Stakes (3.35). Beaten only a length in the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes, Ballydoyle's representative The Irish Rover sets a high form standard.
Over in Ireland the feature is the Ladbrokes Listowel Handicap Hurdle (5.25) where JP McManus sends a strong quartet to Kerry including former Triumph Hurdle winner Ivanovich Gorbatov.
