Donald McCain grasped Musselburgh's six-race card by the scruff of the neck as he saddled a treble, a second and a third from his five runners.

Morraman set the ball rolling under the trainer's daughter Abbie while Brian Hughes completed a double aboard Spin The Coin and Yes No Maybe So.

After winning the maiden hurdle on 11-10 market leader Morraman, Abbie McCain said: "It was a bit too soft for him at Bangor and he really travelled and jumped for me today.
