Winter can emulate Minding and beat the boys later in the year

Winter took the step up in trip for the Nassau Stakes in her stride to comfortably land another Group prize, all but matching her form over a mile in returning a Racing Post Rating of 118+.

Late defections took something from the race, with conditions also casting some doubt over Queen's Trust's chances, but this was still a good editoin and Winter's performance ranks up with the recent race average.

The leading filly in training at a mile, Winter proved her stamina for the extra two furlongs with this success but it may be that the mile trip will prove her best.
