Secret Reprieve 10-1 favourite for Welsh National after easy trial success
Trainer Evan Williams is yet to win his home country's biggest race but looks to have a great chance of breaking his duck this year after Secret Reprieve dominated the Coral Welsh Grand National Trial.
The six-year-old's jumping was excellent considering he had fallen on his reappearance at Haydock and he forged 12 lengths clear after the last to secure a first success in two years.
Williams said: "It's always nice when they go like that after a fall last time because you always worry. He was very good today and that was lovely to see. The Welsh National will be next."
