Jack The Truth began the new year as he had departed the old with an emphatic success in a sprint on the Fibresand and could be in for a busy spell.
George Scott's improver showed his maiden success before Christmas was no fluke when making most of the running to rout his three opponents in the 5f handicap and justify odds of 2-5.
Fran Berry continued his recent good run at the track by steering the son of Dandy Man home by four lengths.
