How big a factor will Goshen be in the Champion Hurdle?
'He looks a real machine'
Massive. He was in the process of thrashing a good Triumph Hurdle field when unseating his rider at the last at Cheltenham in March and bounced right back to that form when winning at Wincanton. Song For Someone is a good yardstick and he beat him by a long way on the bridle with a big gap to the third.
The form is strong and Jamie Moore struggled to pull him up afterwards, so who knows how much more was left in the tank. He looks a real machine of a horse and if he is in the same form at Cheltenham he probably won’t be beaten.
It’s only the 7lb mares' allowance that gives Epatante and Honeysuckle any chance.
