Magna Grecia is the new favourite for the Tattersalls Irish 2,000 Guineas on Saturday as Too Darn Hot has drifted out to as big as 2-1 (from 6-4).

The Aidan O’Brien-trained winner of the 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket three weeks ago has been supported into a top-priced 5-4 (from 7-4) to successfully follow up at the Curragh.

Too Darn Hot had been backed into favouritism during the week after trainer John Gosden diverted him from his intended target at Royal Ascot to the Curragh.

Last season’s champion two-year-old is making his second start of the season nine days after finishing second in the Dante at York.

The clash between Too Darn Hot and Magna Grecia is the highlight of nine races live on ITV4. Here is the key information you need to know:
