Speed up for Classic test in Chantilly clash with Epsom second
They've already won one Oaks this season and Frankie Dettori and John Gosden aim to complete the double today.
A fortnight after Enable's triumph at Epsom, unbeaten stablemate Shutter Speed bids to capture the Prix de Diane Longines at Chantilly.
Rhododendron, who chased Enable home, is also in the field on a day that is one of the most prestigious in the French racing calendar.
Her trainer Aidan O'Brien runs four fillies in his bid for a fourth straight win in the Munster Oaks at Cork, where Paul Midgley aims to follow up yesterday's Musselburgh sprint double with Monsieur Joe in the Midsummer Sprint Stakes.
And Hugo Palmer is on the Classic trail at Dusseldorf, where he bids to land the German 1,000 Guineas for the second year in a row with Unforgetable Filly.
The biggest race in Britain is the Listed British Stallion Studs EBF Cathedral Stakes at Salisbury, for which Richard Fahey's Mr Lupton is the top-rated contender.
