One key runner from each of the six races on ITV this Sunday
Discorama
1.50 Cheltenham
Planteur At Chapel Stud Handicap Chase (Grade 3), 3m3½f
A Cheltenham specialist who has three times been narrowly denied a victory at the festival and made an excellent reappearance when a short-head second to a talented Gordon Elliott-trained rival at Galway last month.
The likes of Yala Enki and West Approach are proven yardsticks, while Captain Drake has form over marathon trips and will relish testing conditions.
Saint Roi
2.10 Punchestown
Unibet Morgiana Hurdle (Grade 1), 2m
The first true test in the career of Saint Roi, who turned the County Hurdle into a procession at the festival in March and got this season off to the best possible start in Grade 3 company last month.
Abacadabras has a point to prove after finishing second in the WKD Hurdle last time, while Jason The Militant, Supasundae and Coeur Sublime will do well to be in the picture.
Put The Kettle On
2.25 Cheltenham
Shloer Chase (Grade 2), 2m
Has a wonderful career record, winning seven of 13 starts, and caused an upset when a 16-1 winner of the Arkle from Fakir D'Oudairies last season.
This is her toughest test, however, with Defi Du Seuil and Riders Onthe Storm representing top-class rivals who will take some stopping.
Proschema
3.00 Cheltenham
Unibet Greatwood Handicap Hurdle (Grade 3), 2m½f
Rated as high as 105 on the Flat, this five-year-old has made a smooth transition to hurdles and has smart prospects running off just 10st 3lb.
Christmas In April
3.15 Fontwell
Paddy Power Southern National Handicap Chase, 3m3½f
Enjoyed an excellent campaign last season with three wins from six starts and has proved himself over marathon trips here, in the Sussex National at Plumpton and Devon National at Exeter.
Failed to show his best when sent off favourite for the Midlands National but could have too much class for Cloudy Glen and Doing Fine if not in need of the run.
Third Time Lucki
3.35 Cheltenham
Sky Bet Supreme Trial Novices' Hurdle, 2m½f
Showed class in the Champion Bumper last season and has transitioned to hurdles with victories at Uttoxeter and Wetherby.
This will tell us whether he's going to be a leading player in novice hurdles, as it will for Fidelio Vallis and Courtandbould.
