No change to the Cheltenham ground but there's growing concern for the car parks
Underfoot conditions at Cheltenham remained soft, heavy in places at the end of the racecourse's biggest Saturday fixture, with officials expressing more concern about the state of the car parks.
Following the abandonment of Friday's meeting the fixture's centrepiece programme took place with the third-last fence and hurdle both omitted.
Clerk of the course Simon Claisse said: "The outlook is mostly dry, although there may be the odd light shower.
"We're going to move the hurdles rail right-handed by a couple of yards to push them off the worst of the inside and I'll take a view in the morning about whether we move any of the hurdles positions.
"We remain soft, heavy in places and we'll see what the morning brings."
Cheltenham officials hope racegoers will not bring cars due to increasingly muddy parking facilities. The track has urged those coming on Sunday to use public transport or, if travelling by car, to share transport and arrive early.
