ITV Racing tips: one key runner from each of the seven races on ITV4 on Friday

1.50 Sandown
Betfair Daily Rewards Novices' Limited Handicap Chase, 2m4f

Winning novice hurdler Bothwell Bridge makes his chase debut for Nicky Henderson alongside recent Paul Nicholls recruit Halo Des Obeaux. They will have to contend with the more experienced Champagne Well, who held on for victory last month at Plumpton.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: MAHLER'S PROMISE

Record of 212 since switched to chasing; good effort over C&D last time; solid chance

2.05 Exeter
betting.bet Novices' Chase, 2m3f

Exciting novices Boothill and Adrimel face off in an intriguing novice contest with past winners that include Saphir Du Rheu, Tea For Two and Defi Du Seuil. Champagnesuperover will have to build on a disappointing last run, while Grade 1-winning hurdler Elixir De Nutz has his first start in a tongue tie.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: BOOTHILL

Plenty of promise during very light rules career and firmly in calculations on chase debut

2.25 Sandown
Ballymore Winter Novices' Hurdle (Grade 2), 2m4f

All the runners in this Grade 2 will be aiming to follow up a recent success, headed by Brave Kingdom, who made an impressive start for Paul Nicholls last month at Chepstow. Fair Frontieres stormed home by 41 lengths in his sole start for Kim Bailey in October, while blinkers seem to have brought out the best in the hat-trick-seeking Lossiemouth.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: BRAVE KINGDOM

Impressive at Chepstow on stable/hurdles debut; smart prospect who commands respect

2.40 Exeter
betting.bet Handicap Chase, 2m3f

Gunsight Ridge has yet to finish out the first four in seven starts and trainer Olly Murphy will aim to keep the streak going with Aidan Coleman on board. The lightly raced L'Homme Presse should be thereabouts, as will last year's winning jockey Brendan Powell, who rides L'Air Du Vent.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: GUNSIGHT RIDGE

Kept on for promising third over 2m on chase debut and today's longer trip looks a plus

3.00 Sandown
Betfair Exchange Handicap Chase, 1m7½f

Darebin bids for back-to-back wins for trainer Gary Moore, who also fields last year's runner-up Early Du Lemo. Desque De L'Isle, a winner last month at Ffos Las, is a danger for the in-form yard of Venetia Williams.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: ONE TRUE KING

Clear second at Ffos Las last time; still unexposed over fences; 1-1 in cheekpieces

3.15 Exeter
Visit betting.bet Chase, 3m6½f

Young Offender seeks to continue his stellar start to chasing following his victory at Chepstow and steps up in trip against the improving On Call, who has won twice this season. Veteran Dancing Shadow makes his third appearance in this contest.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: YOUNG OFFENDER

Improved form to win over 3m2f on chase debut at Chepstow, and was strong at the finish

3.35 Sandown
Pertemps Network Handicap Hurdle, 2m7½f

Fourth at Aintree last month, Pileon may find this trip less favourable than Storm Arising, whose best form comes over this distance and wears first-time cheekpieces. Stoner's Choice makes a rare December appearance and will also come up against Grade 3 winner Al Dancer, who returns to hurdles for the first time since 2019.

SPOTLIGHT TIP: PILEON

Step back in right direction at Aintree (3m Pertemps qualifier) last month; respected
