It is staged at the right racecourse, at the right time of year and it gets better and better.
Qipco British Champions Day has quickly become a magnificent addition to the Flat calendar. It is a credit to all who have made it happen and on Saturday the racecourse, organisers and participants treated us to some fabulous sport.
If there is one concern it is that ITV's excellent coverage did not attract more viewers.
