Then there's further study of Cheltenham, from the Marsh Novices' Chase to the Fulke Walwyn Kim Muir Sadly Without Amateur Riders Handicap Chase. I'm looking forward to it enormously, especially the bit where Fakir D'Oudairies wins the Ryanair Chase. It's not my fault if you were foolish enough to back something else.
Unusually, there are two nine-year-olds, Chatham Street Lad and Darver Star, in the Marsh. I don't fancy either of them.
