Jonathan Neesom lounges, world wearily, against the parade ring railings while Nick Luck doesn’t.
Luck looks smart, as if he were probably born smart, with his hair already in place. Neesom’s hair is also in place but it’s a slave to the wind. Judging from his hair, it looks as if it’s a light breeze at Cheltenham, at least on Racing TV.
On the evidence of Lydia Hislop’s hair, it’s blowing harder by the second-last fence, where she’s tapping the twigs, possibly in the hope of lowering the obstacle a bit to help a flat jumper she’s backed.
