My Week

High point After a slow start it turned into a fantastic week for our team at Cheltenham with Al Boum Photo's Gold Cup win topping the bill. Having waited so long to win the Gold Cup, to win a second with the same horse was very special.

I was also thrilled by Min's win in the Ryanair Chase having failed to score on his three previous visits to the festival. He'd shown before that he's a high-class chaser and he fully deserved it.

Taking over from Ruby (Walsh) was no easy task but Paul has slotted in so well to his role as our stable jockey. I didn't give him any instructions before the Gold Cup and left tactics up to him. He rode him with a lot of confidence and I'm delighted for him.
