All systems go for Al Boum Photo as he bids for Gold Cup double

History tells us that a horse winning back-to-back Magners Cheltenham Gold Cups doesn’t happen often and that is what Al Boum Photo will be attempting today when he bids to follow up his 2019 victory in the great race (3.30).

His win 12 months ago was the first for our yard so it was very special. We decided to follow the same plan with him this season as we did last year by not running him since his win at Tramore on New Year’s Day.

He’s in great form and is fresh and well. We’ve been very happy with his preparation. He has been working well and schooled very well at Navan recently.
