Wuheida stokes Classic dreams with satisfying success for Buick
William Buick celebrates victory on WuheidaCredit: Edward Whitaker
On the course on which William Buick saw his summer dreams disturbed by a 30-day ban, he enjoyed a victory that can sustain his hopes through the winter as Wuheida announced her Classic candidacy.
The once-raced Wuheida was the least experienced runner in the Total Prix Marcel Boussac, but her transition from maiden to Group 1 company was seamless as she first overwhelmed the pace-setting Dabyah and then held off the finish of Promise To Be True.
