No regrets? Sheikh Fahad tweets and panel verdicts make for fascinating reading
The week just gone was notable for tales of the unexpected.
There was, of course, the government's disappointing decision to cancel Goodwood's trial of racing with spectators. Thankfully, the sport's fans still had fantastic action to watch on television. Indeed, the Glorious meeting's showpiece contest produced an unexpected tale of its own.
Sheikh Fahad Al Thani has been a welcome addition to the sport, not least because through Qipco he and his brothers have contributed extensive sponsorship income. Additionally, he contributes passion. His involvement comes not simply from the wallet but also the heart. Last week, it appeared his passion might have run a little loose.
